Whitefield, NH- Yvonne M. Tortora, 69, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

Yvonne was born May 28, 1952 in Boston, MA a daughter of James and Maralyn (Parent) Choukas. She graduated from the St. Patrick School in Roxbury, MA class of 1970 she was married that year to Carmen Tortora and they made their home in Quincey, MA. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Hill & Barlow Law Firm in Boston, before she and her husband owned and operated Bonnie's Breakfast in Brockton, MA, the Hancock Café in Dorchester, MA and lastly Reed's Breakfast Later moving to Whitefield, NH in 2016. Yvonne was a hard worker, born again Christian and she enjoyed collecting butterflies. The most important thing to her was her family, she loved to take care of them and spend time with them.

Yvonne is survived by her beloved husband Carmen A. Tortora of Whitefield; two sons Carmen Tortora Jr. of Brockton and Anthony Tortora of Whitefield, NH; a brother James Choukas of Quincey; and four sisters Charmaine Fabiano of Florida, Sitter Morganelli of Massachusetts, Marlene Choukas of Maine and Genene Choukas of Massachusetts.

A celebration of Yvonne's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
