Obituary

WEST WINDSOR, VT
Werner Weber, 87, a resident of West Windsor, passed away Monday afternoon, September 10 at his home in West Windsor surrounded by his family, following complications from heart surgery.
He was born April 10, 1925 in Lucerne, Switzerland the son of Hans and Margret (Weber) Weber. He was raised and received his schooling in Switzerland. He graduated from Ecole Hotelier in Lausanne. He came to the United States in 1949 and had resided in Westport, CT for most of his life. He had managed the Weeburn Country Club in Darien, CT for many years. He married Brenda Hudspith in 1951 and she passed away in 1993. He married Elizabeth (Evarts) Cornell in 1995. They moved to West Windsor that same year.
He was predeceased by one brother, Harry Weber.
Survivors include his loving wife of seventeen years, Elizabeth Cornell Weber of West Windsor, three sons, Mark Weber and his wife, Cathy of Florida, Peter Weber of Massachusetts and Christopher Weber and his wife, Yang of Connecticut, three stepchildren, Mark Cornell and his wife, Elizabeth Taggart of Illinois, Timothy Cornell and his wife, Elizabeth of New Hampshire and Elizabeth Burrows and her husband, Justin of Vermont, eight grandchildren, Lauren Weber-Lettrich and her husband, Stephen, Josh Weber and his wife, Kristen and their son, Brendon, James Weber, Elizabeth Weber, Avery Weber, Ian Weber, Zachary Weber and Monica Weber, five step grandchildren, Max Cornell, Molly Cornell, Ruby Cornell, Jasper Burrows and Lee Burrows, one niece, Charlotte Christ-Weber of Switzerland.
A graveside memorial service will be held, Saturday, September 15 at 4:00 PM in the Sheddsville Cemetery in Brownsville with the Rev. Susan Langle, Rector of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Claremont, NH, officiating. A pot luck supper for family and friends will follow at "the cabin" in Brownsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Breakfast Program at the Trinity Episcopal Church at 120 Broad Street, Claremont, NH 03743, earmarked for the diaper program in memory of Werner Weber.
The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is entrusted with the arrangements.
