WINDSOR, VT

Wade E. Ellis, 43, a resident of Belmont, VT and a former longtime resident of Windsor, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, January 1 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, VT.

He was born November 4, 1975 in Hanover, NH the son of Frank E. and Margaret (Becker) Ellis. He received his schooling in Windsor and Hartford, graduating from Hartford High School. Wade was employed in quality control at Simon Pearce in Windsor for several years. He was a proud member of the Vermont Special Olympics. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football, basketball and baseball. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was very fond of fishing with his uncles, George, Doug and Scott Sargent. He was fond of children and enjoyed teaching them and making them laugh. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Eric Ellis.

Survivors include many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Jessica Sargent and her fiancé, Keith Robinson, whom Wade was living with, both of Belmont, VT.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 19 beginning at 1:00 PM at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Pastor Sally Ann Silfies will officiate. Committal services will be held in the spring in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor.
