Virginia C. Robinson, 90, passed away Sept. 12, 2016 at Brookside Nursing Home in Wilder, Vt.
Ginny was born 8/31/1926 in Concord, N.H., the daughter of Clifford G. Culver and Grace Merrill Culver.
Ginny graduated from Concord High School, class of 1944. In 1947 she married Edward P. Robinson, Jr and enjoyed 62 years together.
Ginny worked for New England Telephone Co. as an operator In Concord and Keene, N.H. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading and being surrounded by her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2009 and her sister Marion Langevin in 2011.
After her husband passed away Ginny came to live with her daughter Susan and husband Michael in Hartland, Vt. where she spent 6 very happy years. She enjoyed sitting in her room and watching the birds out her window. She also enjoyed reading, knitting socks for her family and crocheting afghans for the grandchildren and watching her soap operas.
Ginny is survived by four children; Susan and husband Michael of Hartland, Vt., Stephen of Portland, Maine, Michael and his wife Candi of Chichester, N.H. and Peter and his wife Wanda of Loudon, N.H. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She is survived locally by her grandson Christopher Brewer and Kayt and great-grandchildren Timothy and Kailyn of Sharon, Vt.and her great-granddaughter Alyssa Brewer of Hartland, Vt.
At the family's request there will be a private burial at a later date.
