Virginia R. Bobin, 90, died Friday, November 7, 2014 at her home in Windsor, VT. She was born December 28, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of Albert and Eileen (Breen) Tolworthy. She grew up on Staten Island, New York and graduated from Tottenville High School. She was married to Stephen Bobin in 1947 in Eltingville, S.I. where they built their home and raised four children. They later resided in Port Jervis, New York where she was widowed in 1992. She moved to Windsor, VT in 2001 to be closer to her eldest son. She is survived by her children, Christopher Bobin of Singapore, Gail Bobin of Northampton, MA., Joanne DelSolar of California, Stephen Bobin of Cornish, N.H. and three grandchildren. Virginia loved her dog, her gardens and relaying a humorous story. Knight Funeral Home in Windsor, VT assisted with arrangements.
