Thomas A. Reynolds, 66, passed away peacefully at his home in Windsor on Monday, February 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on July 7, 1959, in Windsor, Tom was the son of Thomas E. Reynolds and Alice (Merrill) Reynolds. He attended Windsor schools and, after graduating, began an apprenticeship in painting with Ken Beaulieu. What began as a trade soon became a lifelong passion. For more than twenty years, he devoted himself to his craft, taking great pride in his work. A skilled carpenter and roofer as well, he shared his talents with many companies over the years, though painting was always closest to his heart.

Known as the life of the party, Tom was quick with a joke, full of energy, and always ready to make others laugh. Beneath that spirited nature was a deeply loyal and devoted man. One Valentine’s Eve, he met the love of his life, Nylene. Together they built a life centered on family, raising four daughters in a home filled with love, laughter, strength, and unwavering support. With Nylene, he found not only partnership, but a love that anchored and sustained him through every season of life.

Simple pleasures brought him the greatest happiness — hunting and fishing, trips to the lake, long drives along country roads, family cookouts, and playing softball. More than anything, time spent with his children and grandchildren meant the most; they were his greatest pride and joy.

A fighter through every chapter of life, Tom stood fiercely protective of those he loved. His family could always count on his steady presence and wholehearted devotion. Even as his health declined and he became wheelchair bound, his determination remained unshaken. Refusing to let circumstances define him, he continued to greet friends and neighbors with a warm smile, a joke, or a story, choosing to live fully and on his own terms each day.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Thomas Reynolds; his sister, Linda Campbell; his nephews, Steven Gibson and Cody Roberts; and several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Left to cherish his memory are his partner of over four decades, Nylene Robinson; his daughters, Raelene Robinson-Garrow and her husband, Gary, of Cornish; Leeanna Robinson and her wife, Jennifer, of Windsor, VT; Cayla Cline of Windsor, VT; and Lylah Reynolds and her fiancée, Sam George, of White River Junction; along with his cherished grandchildren, Sadie (Garrow) Frazer, Logan Garrow, Ashton Garrow, Madison Garrow, Lydia Garrow, Finn Garrow, Melodie Cline, and Paige Cline.

He also leaves behind his “favorite” cousin, Debra Macia, as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will forever remember his humor, generosity, strength, and larger-than-life spirit.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held Sunday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the American Legion in Windsor. Knight Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Windsor Resource Center, 1 Railroad Avenue, Windsor, VT 05089.
