Hartland, VT- Theresa K. Gregory, 58, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at
Hanover Terrace in Hanover, NH.
Theresa was born January 21, 1959 in Toronto, ON, Canada a daughter of Ted
and Elona (Rup) Kurosad. She graduated from High School in Hollywood,
Florida, and went on to obtain a Master's degree in Audiology from the
University of South Florida in Tampa, where she met her future husband. She
was married to Peter G. Gregory on January 4, 1986 in Miami Shores, FL.
After graduation, they made their home in Vermont. Theresa worked for many
years as the assistant director of the Hartland Public Library.
She is survived by her beloved husband Peter Gregory of Hartland, VT; two
sons, Dillon Gregory of Schenectady, NY and Evan Gregory of Windsor, VT; her
parents Ted and Elona Kurosad of Quechee, VT; a brother Jim Kurosad and his
wife Indiana and children Taylor and Brennan of Wake Forest, NC. She is
also survived by her Aunt and Uncle of Toronto, Ontario, Kazia and Roman
Bladek and their family.
Theresa loved Vermont, its compassionate people and beautiful environment.
She was passionate about riding and caring for her two horses and for
helping others, all the while exhibiting tremendous strength, bravery,
compassion and selflessness. She was a fierce advocate for those who needed
support and protection.
At Theresa's request, there will be no calling hours or memorial service.
