CLAREMONT, NH
Thelma B. Felone, 81, a resident of Claremont, died early Thursday morning, January 26, 2012 at the Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH. She was born March 19, 1930 in Framingham, MA the daughter of George and Alice (Foss) Whiting.
She grew up in and graduated from high school in Framingham, Massachusetts. She married William J. Felone in September of 1953. They lived in Framingham for many years. Thelma worked for a time at Dennison Manufacturing in Framingham. Later she worked for a short time at Romans Clothing Store in Natick, MA. But her primary occupation was caring for her family and friends
Thelma was a loyal, caring person. While her husband was battling cancer, Thelma served as his primary care giver up until his death in 1989. In June of 1997 she moved to Claremont, NH to be nearer her son, Mark, who had recently moved to Brownsville, VT. She lived at the Marion Phillips Apartments for the rest of her life. There she enjoyed reading, making hooked rugs and most of all being around people.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Felone and his wife, Carol of Brownsville, VT and William Felone, two grandchildren, Laura Felone and Ryan Felone both of Brownsville, VT and one niece and three nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25 at 3:00PM in the Ball Room of the Marion Phillips Apartment Complex in Claremont.
