Thelma G. Banker

Thelma G. Banker, 67, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a long illness.
She was born June 2, 1943 in Randolph, VT the daughter of Arnold and Dorothy (Reynolds) Tancreti. She graduated from Randolph High School. She worked for a time as a waitress in the 1970's and then for Goodyear Rubber Company. In her later years she worked as a home health caretaker for several families around the Upper Valley. She was married to Norman Banker on October 5, 1996 in South Royalton, VT.
Thelma was a member of the White River Junction American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #26. She enjoyed Hunting and fishing, making wreaths and crafts but most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
Thelma is predeceased by two brothers, Victor and Raymond Tancreti.
She is survived by; two sons, Aaron J. Charland of Omaha, NE, and Alan M. Charland of Bradford, VT; a daughter Sonya Evans of Belchertown, MA; three sisters, Anita Adams of Montpelier, VT, Emily Grenier of Disraeli, Quebec, Canada and Janet Geno of Chula Vista, CA.
Friends may call Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT from 6-7 PM a memorial service will follow at 7 PM.
