Windsor, VT – Suzette (Ducharme) Torrey, 55, of Windsor, VT passed away on Friday morning, October 10, 2025, after a long battle with liver issues. She was born on July 12, 1970, to Felix A. and Linda A. (Wheeler) Ducharme. Suzette grew up in Cabot, VT, until moving to White River Junction, VT with her family in 1987. From 1988 – 1994, Suzette had three beautiful daughters, Carrie (Burnham) Sinsabaugh and husband David of Lebanon, NH, Erika (Burnham) Quinlan and husband John of Wilder, VT, and Cassandra Burnham and partner Jordan Rudkowski of Windsor. Later Suzette met and fell in love with Donald Torrey. They were married in 2013, and she gained a stepdaughter and stepson, Kaylynn Torrey and Gregory Torrey.

Suzette doted on her eighteen grandchildren, Naia, Natalie, and Sam Frederick, Ryan and Rachel Wentworth, Liam, Danika, Madison, and Avery Sinsabaugh, Jonathan Quinlan, Leon and Wes Rutkowski, Bobbi Short, and Weston, Landon, McKenzie, Paisley, and Aubree Torrey, for they were her life.

Suzette also leaves behind her parents Felix A. and Linda A. Ducharme of White River Junction; siblings Norma (Ducharme) Williams of White River Jct., VT, Norman Ducharme of Windsor, VT, Bob Ducharme of White River Jct., Albert Ducharme of Merideth, NH, Arthur Ducharme of Port Orchard, WA, Joseph Ducharme of Chelsea, VT, and Bernadette (Ducharme) McGuire of Brownsville, VT; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Suzette was heavily into crafts and cooking. Creating new things kept her energized, from mouthwatering foods to home décor. Her latest interest was adult coloring of realistic pictures, which will be on display at her celebration of life to benefit her family.

There will not be a funeral or a wake, but a celebration of life from 10-3 on Sunday, October 26 at the Windsor Recreation Center. Please provide your own drinks. Memorial contributions to her family are preferred, please leave a message with Don at 802-291-3055.
