Sue C. "Carol" Druge
White River Junction, Vermont- Sue C. "Carol" Druge, 70, died Monday, August 15, 2011 at her home.
Carol was born November 22, 1940 in St. Albans, VT, the daughter of Edward and Lillian (Trombley) Willey. She attended School in St. Albans and spent a majority of her life raising her family. They moved to the Upper Valley in 1966 where she worked for a time at the Hartford Diner in Hartford, VT. She then went to work for UniFirst in Lebanon, NH retiring in 2008 after seventeen years with the company.
Carol enjoyed her retirement. She would spend her days working on crossword puzzles, Sudoku, watching television, playing bingo, card games including poker, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a fan of the New York Yankee's and made sure to let local Boston fans know that she was. Carol was an avid Elvis Presley fan who could never get enough of the King.
She is predeceased by two brothers Edward Willey and John Willey, and a sister Maggie Dudley.
Carol is survived by six children Sonya Clifford-Lambert and husband Danny Lambert, Victoria "Vicky" Bills and her companion Ron Welch all of White River Junction, Buddy Druge and Wife Sandi of Hartford, Dion and wife Lena of Bradenton, FL, Diana "Dee" Druge of Canaan, NH Chris Druge and wife Bethany of White River Junction; ten grandchildren, Wyatt, Kaylyn, Madison, Makenna, Travis, Francis Jr., Nicole, Tylor, Alaina, and Jason; a great-grandson Blake, a brother Richard Willey of Follensbee, WV; a sister Lucinda "Lucy" Baker of South Strafford, VT and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM at the funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hartford Cemetery in White River Junction.
