On May 22, 2023,Steven M. Williams of Piermont, then Lyme Center, New Hampshire died. Steve proudly served his country as a United States Marine From 1991 to 1995, as a security guard at the Pentagon, an Infantry Tow Gunner, and later, after earning both rifle and pistol expert badges, he coached others on the range. Steve served his local communities for over two decades as a member of the high way department, then as road agent and foreman. He valued hard work, led by example, and moved mountains to get things done during blizzards and natural disasters. Steve was admired by those who knew him for his passionate approach to life, his dedication to providing for his family, his boundless devotion to his loved ones, and his love of the woods.Our lives were enriched by his ideals, quick wit, and inimitable humor.Steve is survived by his wife of 30 years,Tiffany,his two sons Cole of Orford,NH and Joseph of Lyme,NH, by Abbi Donahue of Orford, NH and by his brother Matthew, sister Kim, brother Wade, many nieces and nephews, his Brittany Spaniel Pup pup,and his beloved Holsteins Bunk,Tub, and Ramona.Those of us who loved Steve know what he accomplished despite adversity was for us.We are so proud and humbled and he is sorely missed.
