Stanley Allen Hamilton, Sr., 69, died Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in White River Junction, VT.
Stan was born December 8, 1947 in Brattleboro, son of George and Margaret (Riendean) Hamilton. Stan attended Hinsdale Senior High School and later served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Stan returned to the area after the war.
Stan enjoyed Harness Racing and horses, especially his horse Hobo.
Stan is survived by a son Stanley Hamilton, Jr of Keene, NH and a sister, Margo Wilkins of Hinsdale, NH.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Chesterfield West Cemetery in Chesterfield, NH. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements.
