Windsor, Vermont – Stacey Jean Hussey, 68, died peacefully surrounded by family, Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Cedar Hill Healthcare Facility in Windsor, VT.
She was born June 27, 1953, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, the daughter of Lawrence and Marilyn (Straw) Fairbrother. She graduated from Pioneer Valley High School, Hadley, MA in 1971. Shortly after, she moved to Vermont and took a job as a waitress at the Top Hat Restaurant, which at that time was one of the most popular eateries in the Upper Valley area. Once her girls reached school age, she worked full time as an assembler at Lance Industries in Windsor and later at Hypertherm in Lebanon, NH until her retirement in 2017.
Stacey enjoyed watching birds, bingo, and crocheting but most of all, she enjoyed being the biggest fan at all her daughters' and grandchildren's school and sporting events.
