Windsor, VT – Sophia Ida-Rose White, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 10, 2023, at the age of 9. Sophia was born on February 25, 2014, the daughter of Skip and Samantha (Putnam) White in Lebanon, NH. She was a world champion snuggler, enjoyed going on family adventures, and greeted each day with joy. When her baby sister was born, she was so very excited to be a big sister and made it clear that Sidney was not only her little sister, but also her best friend.

She is survived by a loving and close family including her parents Skip and Samantha White and her sister Sidney of Windsor; grandparents Kenneth and Janet White of Perkinsville, VT and Walter and Barbara Putnam of Lebanon, NH; great grandparents Bert and Pat White of Ascutney, VT; her Auntie Kristy and Uncle Mike Cushing of Windsor; her cousin Kyle Cushing of Springfield, VT; their four-legged family of Shelby the dog and Stanley and Stella the cats; and other extended family and friends.

A celebration of Sophia's life with purple balloons, cake, and joyful thoughts and memories will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 1 until 3pm at Knight Funeral Home, Windsor, VT.
