Lebanon, NH- Sheila R. Mears, 64, died Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the Jack Byrne Center at DHMC in Lebanon. Shelia was born October 5, 1957, in Lebanon, NH a daughter of William and Ethel (Luce) Harriman. She grew up in West Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1975. Sheila attended Hair Dressing School in Claremont, NH. She worked in various capacities at several establishments around the Upper Valley. She worked for a time at Price Chopper and at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Her greatest joy was when she was able to stay home and care for her grandchildren.

Sheila enjoyed spending time and eating at The Fort in Lebanon with her late husband, Roger Mears. She loved and cared for her fish and cats, she loved playing with her father's dog, Ginger. She had a good life, great parents, two loving boys and grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Roger Mears and mother Effie Harriman. She is survived by her two sons, Bill Goodspeed and his partner, DeAnna Ellis of Wilder, VT and Ed Goodspeed of Springfield, VT; two grandchildren Deondra and Dakota Goodspeed; father, Bill Harriman, brother Tom Harriman of Newbury, NH; and sister Sharla Aher of Lebanon, NH.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 1pm in the West Lebanon Cemetery in West Lebanon, NH. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com .
