West Windsor, VT- Shawn Eugene Norrie, 49, died Thursday, June 16, 2022, at home following a brief illness.  He was born November 24, 1972, in Hartford, CT, a son of Jennifer (Hamilton) Norrie and grew up in Suffield, CT and graduated from Southwick Tolland Regional High School in Southwick, MA, class of 1992. Shawn and his mother moved to Vermont in 2006 and he has worked for Casella Construction and as a landscaper in the Upper Valley.

Shawn enjoyed woodworking and created many beautiful shelves for their home and frames to showcase his mother's artwork. He loved the outdoors and found peace hiking Mt. Ascutney, doing chores, and feeling the sun on his face. He was a proud gamer and spent long evenings playing video games surrounded by his friends and mum. His wonderful and joyous good-natured sense of humor made him as quick with a joke or a helping hand to someone in need.

Survivors include his mother Jennifer A. Seibert of West Windsor and his close friends Hafard Rikki and his wife Helena of Windsor, Kenny Hendrix of White River Junction, VT, Mike Revard of Georgia, Dave Cooper of Massachusetts, and the ladies at Price Chopper.
