SHARON L. DENECHAUD
SOUTH STRAFFORD, VT
Sharon L. Denechaud, 64, a resident of South Strafford died Tuesday afternoon, February 16 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
She was born November 29, 1945, in Kirksville, Missouri the daughter of Clarence and Alyce (Schatzyl) Conner. She received her schooling in Whittier, CA where she graduated from Whittier High School. She attended Long Beach State University. She married Guy C. Denechaud in Whittier on February 24, 1968. She was employed in the payroll department at Bullock's Department Store and in the payroll & business banking service for twenty seven years. Since moving to the Upper Valley, she worked at Stebbins & Bradley Law Offices in Hanover.
Her hobbies included photography and art, she had sold her creations at the Norwich Farmers Market. She enjoyed wildlife and was an avid gardener. She was member of the Strafford Art Group and the New England Wildflower Association. She loved dogs, particularly dachshunds, having adopted several of them over the years.
Survivors include her husband Guy of South Strafford, one sister, Carol Roquemore of Meniffee, CA.
A memorial service was held with family, her many friends and caring neighbors, at the United Church of Strafford.
