Wilder, VT- Sharon Anne (Crouch) Cote passed away at her home on August 15, 2023. She was born on April 15, 1951, in Virginia Beach, VA to parents Alease and Donald Crouch. She was the second of their six children; Marie Hammacher, David Crouch, Donna Rowley, Lonna Crouch (predeceased) all of Virginia and Dorothy Corbett of California. She also has a half-brother, Robert Huntington of Virginia.

Sharon married the love of her life, Gerald "Jerry" Cote on January 30, 1970, and they shared 53 1/2 years together building that love. They welcomed their first child, a son, Brent Cote, the following year of their marriage. Their daughter, Leandra (Lewellyn) was born two years later. The saying "a true love story never ends" proved true when Leandra married Sonny and blessed them with their first grandchild, Brennen. Brent married Shawntel and they blessed Jerry & Sharon with two more grandsons, Alex and Zachary. The love story continued when Brennen married Evelyn, which Sharon was so happy to be able to share in that day given her illnesses.

Jerry & Sharon worked together at the family restaurant, Cote's, for one year. Sharon worked at several area businesses as a secretary. Her most rewarding was for the Town of Hanover until her health prevented her from working.

Sharon became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1989. She loved sharing the Bible with others and counted this as the most important and privileged part of her life.

By her own words, Sharon lived a rich, meaningful life and was blessed by the best husband "in the whole world", who devoted the last few years caring for her during many difficult health issues. She loved her children and grandchildren "bigger than the sky" and was so proud of the kind of people they are.

Sharon looks forward to returning to the love story when her hope of Jehovah's promised resurrection to a restored earth is realized. (Job 14: 13-15) We all miss you greatly!

A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on September 2, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 57 Daisy Hill Rd, Lebanon, NH, 03766.
