Springfield, VT – Scott Allen Sargent, born June 10, 1967, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2022. Scott was a very loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and a great friend. He was a man who had a heart of gold and always helped others without any expectations; the act of helping made him happy and was the only return he wanted. He didn't care if someone rode around on a bicycle or drove a Jaguar, he treated everyone with respect. Scott was never a materialistic man. He had a passion for playing pool, fishing, hunting, being a mechanic, and carpentry. If he could not fix something, he was smart enough to find a way. If you needed to learn how to fix anything, he would tell you in detail how. Scott loved to make people smile. He loved his family deeply and they will miss him.

Scott is now at peace with his predeceased parents, George and Nancy Sargent.

Molden of Springfield, Victoria A. Molden and fiancé, Jack Cardinal and granddaughter, Alisya of West Lebanon, and Kenneth S. Molden of Springfield; his loyal brother, George Sargent, Jr. and wife, Michele Sargent of Perkinsville; brother, Douglas Sargent; sisters, Lisa Bixby of Belmont, VT and Cindy Fordham of Lempster, NH; nieces and nephews, Brandie Sargent of North Springfield, Jake Sargent of Perkinsville, Jessica Sargent, Travis Sargent and Jim Bixby ; his Aunt Jaquline Sargent of Ludlow, uncle Thomas Sargent of Windsor, uncle Donald Sargent of Windsor, aunt Rebecca Davis of Springfield, Uncle Michael Sargent of Springfield; his other grandchildren, Damien, Hennessey, Aria, Charlie, Atticus, and Marie; plus many cousins as well.
