Canaan, NH - Scott Michael Lepine, 57, died unexpectedly August 8, 2023, at his home.

Scott was born April 12, 1966, in Hanover, NH, a son of Roger and Catherine (Bettis) Lepine. He grew up in White River Junction and graduated from Hartford High School in 1984. Scott attended Vermont Technical College for a time before joining the workforce. He started working in the P&C Warehouse in White River Junction where he stayed for ten years. Following his passion for cars, he took a position at Chase Auto Salvage in Canaan, here he was able to immerse himself in what he loved. This is where he worked until they parted ways in 2019. He later joined the team at Chey Insulation.

Scott enjoyed working with his hands. He loved to work on classic cars and motorcycles. He was a talented builder and carpenter, building his home with his father. His greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends when they would eat or work on a project together.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Lepine, in 1997.

Scott is survived by a daughter, Kaitlyn Lepine of Boston, MA; a son, Patrick Lepine, of Newport, VT; his father, Roger Lepine of White River Junction; a sister, Annette Lepine of Windsor, VT; and a brother, Daniel Lepine of White River Junction.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 2 until 4pm with a brief prayer service at 2pm at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a local food bank or if you can't do that, please perform an act of kindness, Scott loved helping people and took great pride in doing so when he could make someone's day a little brighter.
