White River Junction, VT- Sandra J. "Sandy" Kenison, 79, died Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Jack Byrne Center at Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH.

Sandy was born October 14, 1944, in Hanover, NH, a daughter of Milton and Dorothy (Chamberlain) Gaffney. She grew up in Woodstock, VT and attended Woodstock High School. Sandy was married to Stanley "Goose" Kenison on June 18, 1961, in Sharon, VT, they made their home in White River Junction. She stayed home with their children until they were in school, when she became a home health caretaker for the Visiting Nurse Alliance of VT&NH.

Sandy was a member of the Hartford Hurricane Riders Snowmobile Club. She enjoyed snowmobiling, country western dancing, playing friendly card games and BINGO with her mother. Sandy also enjoyed camping and spent many seasons at the Lake Champaign Campground in Randolph Center in the Popup Camper with her kids.

Sandy is preceded in death by a brother Milton F. Gaffney and a sister Elizabeth A. Stetson. She is survived by her Husband Goose Kenison, of White River Junction; a daughter, Annette Lyman and husband Dale of White River Junction;  a son Michael S. Kenison and his wife Shannon of Pittsfield, VT; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren a brother Wallace Chamberlain and wife Barb of Woodstock, VT; and nieces and nephews.
