White River Jct., VT – Sandra J. Combs, 58, died Early Tuesday Morning May 25, 2010 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Sandy was born March 19, 1952 in Danvers, MA, the daughter of Percy J. and Mildred P. (Mello) Blanchette. She was raised throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She was married to Raymond Combs December 31, 1983 in Cornish, NH where they lived for a time before moving to North Troy, VT Raymond died in 1997 and she moved back to Claremont to be nearer to family. Caring for the elderly was a true passion of hers, she worked as a nurse's assistant at Cedar Hill in Windsor, Alpine Nursing Home in Newport, VT and the Brookside Nursing Home in White River Jct. VT.
Sandy loved spending free time reading, doing number crosswords, and dancing.
Sandy is survived by two daughters, Michelle Woods of Easton, PA and Kecie Combs of Vernon, CT; four grandchildren Preston Combs, Vincent Desilets both of Vernon, CT, Peter Raymond Personeni and George Michael Woods both of Easton, CT; fiancé, Dennis Moye of White River Jct., VT; two brothers Kenneth Blanchette and Michael Blanchette.
