White River Junction, VT- Ryan Joseph Stanley, 31, died unexpectedly Monday, May 17, 2021 in Rutland, VT.

Ryan was born August 10, 1989 in Hartford, CT, a son of Mark Stanley and Penny (Seaver) Lavertue. He attended the Lebanon primary schools, Hartford schools and later the Oxbow Schools. Ryan loved to work with his hands and was very crafty. Ryan was into rap and hip-hop, he was an aspiring artist. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, fishing, racing radio control cars, bonfires, basketball, and he looked forward to every opportunity he had to spend with his Daughter, Kylee Jo.

He is predeceased by his partner, Samantha Pierce; grandparents, Forrest Seaver and Rita (Renaud) Seaver and an uncle, Steven Seaver.

He is survived by a daughter, Kylee Jo Pierce of Canaan; Mother, Penny Jo (Seaver) Lavertue and her husband Scott of Quechee, VT; Father, Mark Stanley of Rock, WV; two brothers, Zachary Stanley of White River Junction, Marc Stanley of Rock, WV; three sisters Briana Stanley of White River Junction; Leara King and Maya King both of Quechee, aunts; uncles Mick, Randy, Barry and Tim Seaver; step brother Colin lavertue; step sister Jazmyn Durgin  two nephews and two nieces; and numerous cousins.

A private visitation will be held at the convenience of the family. Knight Funeral home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com .

The family has established a GoFundMe to assist in paying for the funeral arrangements any excess will be given to a fund for his daughter to be used as needed over the years.
