Hartland, VT – Russ T. Downing, 52, of Hartland, VT died on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. He was born on August 30, 1969, in Hanover, NH to David and Beverly (Griffin) Downing and graduated from Hartland Elementary School and Windsor High School. He loved auto racing, working in his auto body shop, spending time with his friends and relatives, and his dog Tyson.

Russ is survived by his brother David Downing and wife Beth of Mooresville, NC; one niece Rylie Downing, also of Mooresville; his uncles Johnny, Mark, and Terry Downing, Ernest, George, and Gary Griffin; his aunt Charlene Locke; and lots of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A private burial will be held later in the Hartland Village Cemetery.
