West Lebanon, NH - Rose Marie L. Romano, 86, died Friday December 25, 2020 at Valley Terrace in Wilder, VT.

She was born Rose Marie Lorraine Morin, youngest of 7 children to Alfred and Sara Annie (O'Brady) Morin in West Lebanon on May 19, 1934.  Rose Marie was raised in West Lebanon and graduated from West Lebanon High School on Seminary Hill in 1952.  She and her classmates continued the annual West Lebanon Alumni Parade unit recently.

Rose Marie married Anthony W. "Buddy" Romano October 1, 1955.  They celebrated 40 years of marriage in 1995 at The New London Inn with their three children and families.  They made their home in West Lebanon where they raised their family and lived all their married lives.  She was a fantastic mother, a precious memere to her four grandchildren and made a wonderful home for her family.  Life was all about her family: weekend outings at Macawee fishing club, fiddlers' contests, and summer-long trips to Biddeford Pool Maine with kids, an English Bulldog and a cat all packed for weeks.

Rose Marie had a great sense of humor.  All who knew her, loved her, and laughed with her will remember her wit well.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1996; as well as by her parents; brothers Robert, Gills and Raymond Morin; two sisters Yolande Moore and Lucille Marchewka.

She is survived by her children, Mark Anthony Romano of Dorchester, NH, Anne Elizabeth Hayes (George) of Sunapee, NH, and Paul Alfred Romano (Nichole) of Plainfield; grandchildren, Eric Romano of Enfield Center, Sara Romano of Lebanon, Darcy Hayes (Ali) of Georgia and Alexis Romano of Connecticut and one precious great-grandson Henry Romano Hayes of Georgia; a sister Patricia Smith of Bow, NH as well as many nieces, nephews, and great friends.

There will be no service at this time due to the COVID Pandemic.  A service will be announced at a later date.
