Rosabelle Ellen Butterfield

Corning, OH – Rosabelle Ellen Butterfield, 79, formerly of Ascutney, VT died at her daughter's home in Corning, OH on Saturday June 9th.

She was born October 20, 1932 in Cornish, NH a daughter of Harold and Lillian (Picknell) Johnson. Rosabelle attended school in Windsor and worked for many years as a Master Chef at Christopher's Restaurant in Claremont, NH and then a Nurse's Aide at the Cedar Hill Continuing Care Center in Windsor also for many years. She was married to Melvin Butterfield October 18, 1985, Mr. Butterfield died in 2005.

Mrs. Butterfield was a very loving Mother. She was a member of the Connecticut River Grange #518 of Windsor, VT and a member of The Shepherd's Chapel of Gravette, AR.

She is survived by two daughters Donna L. Bandy and her husband Kevin of Corning, OH and Patricia A. Saglio and her husband Richard of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two sons Arthur G. Cilley and his wife Elizabeth of Canaan, NH and Michael S. Cilley also of Canaan, NH and two step daughters Ruth McAllister and her husband Glen of Springfield, VT and Ellen Rupp of Malabar, Fl. as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 1-3PM on Thursday June 14th at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor, VT. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11AM on Friday June 15th.
