White River Jct., VT – Rosa De La Rosa, 76, loving mother, wonderful grandmother, caring sister, aunt and godmother, died Wednesday evening, April 2, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She was born December 6, 1937 in Cartagena , Colombia one of seven children to Boris and Isabel (Babilonia) Bielostotzky. She grew up in Colombia . As a young woman moved to Washington DC and worked at the Colombian Embassy. She was married in Venezuela and moved to New York in 1973. Rosa became a United States citizen in 1988 and shortly after that earned her G.E.D. She moved to the Upper Valley area in 2004 to be closer to her daughter and grandson. Along with raising her three children as a single mom, Rosa also opened her home to several foster children. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching soap operas and the "Big Bang Theory", listening to Spanish music and traveling with her family. Rosa was a regular at the Bugbee Senior Center in White River Jct. as well as the Lebanon Senior Center . Her favorite animal was elephants and she loved spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of the Upper Valley Church of Christ in Quechee , VT.

Because of her kind and compassionate nature, Rosa made friends easily. She will be dearly missed by her family and her many friends.

She was predeceased by a brother Antonio and sister, Olga. Rosa is survived by her two daughters, Zenaida Blanchard of White River Jct., VT, and Beatriz De La Rosa of Long Island, NY, a son, Juan De La Rosa of Long Island, NY, her grandson, Aaron Blanchard, two brothers, Marcos Bielostotzky of Colombia, Bernardo Bielostotzky of Venezuela, two sisters Cecilia Bielostotzky of Sanford, FL, Emerita Salgado of Charleston, SC and several nieces and nephews.
