Enfield Center, NH – Rodney L. Blair, 46, died suddenly on Thursday August 9th at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

He was born June 3, 1966 in Lebanon, NH a son of Doris Blair. Rodney attended schools in Hartford, VT before beginning work at local saw mills including Britton Lumber in Ely, VT and G.H. Evarts in Meriden, NH. He also worked for area waste removal services including Noel Vincent, All Waste Services and most recently at Northeast Waste. Rodney was married to Marie Boutin in June of 1998 and they have made their home in Enfield Center for the past fifteen years.

Rodney was a huge race fan who especially enjoyed local track racing. He was a former NASCAR fan but lost interest after his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt, died in 2001. He also liked to tinker on small engines and other machinery around home.

Rodney was predeceased by his mother in 1999 and is survived by his wife Marie and two children, Dana and Adrianna all of Enfield; his cousin with whom he was raised together as brothers, Richard Cummings of Bellows Falls; his mother-in-law Theresa Boutin, sister-in-law Jenny Dyment and her husband Richard and their two children; a brother-in-law Tim Boutin and his wife Laurie and their two children as well as an aunt, an uncle and three cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Monday August 13th from 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 11AM.
