Obituary

Royalton, VT- Rocky G. Osmer, 49, died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his home unexpectedly surrounded by his family.

Rocky was born August 26, 1968 in Lebanon, NH a son of Rodney and Linda (French) Osmer.  He attended Thetford Academy, and went to work for Pompanoosuc Mills working as a driver and a laborer. He was married to Tina Winters September 5, 1987 they moved to Enfield before moving to White River Junction and later Wilder. In 2002 they bought their first home together in East Haven, VT where they lived until 2012 when they moved to Royalton.

Rocky was an avid hunter he enjoyed both rifle and crossbow hunting, he also enjoyed fishing and could be found by the shore. But his greatest joy was family, he loved to cook for everyone and made sure everyone was fed.

Rocky is predeceased by his father and a brother,  Dana Osmer.

He is survived by his beloved wife Tina Osmer of Royalton; three daughters Crystal Osmer, Megan Osmer, and Brittany Osmer all of South Royalton, VT; six grandchildren Kayleigh Osmer, Dylan Vaillancourt, Brooklyn Osmer, Brian Miller Jr, Kaycee Miller, and Makenleigh Miller; mother Linda French of White River Junction;  three brothers, David Osmer of Hartford, Chad Osmer of Barre, and Rodney " Gene" Osmer of White River Junction; a very close and dear friend that Rocky and Tina considered as a sister, Susan Miller of White River Jct., VT; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangement.
