Robin
Watson
September 18, 1953 – July 25, 2018
Lyme, NH - Robin Watson died Wednesday, July 25 th at the age of 64 surrounded by family. She was born September 18 th , 1953 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of late Herbert W.
Bean Jr and Carol (Bobby) V. (Hayward) Bean. Robin attended Exeter High School for
two years and graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont, NH in 1971. She then
went on to attend Bay State College in Boston, MA where she graduated with a degree
in Business.
In her early years, Robin fought on the campaign trail for many Republican candidates.
Robin was tenacious and strong willed, fitting in well with the political scene. She was
never afraid to speak her mind and was loved endlessly for that.
Robin married her husband William (Bill) Watson in Hopkinton, NH in 1989. She put her
career on hold to raise her two children, William and Caroline. She was a devoted
mother, planning extravagant birthday parties for her kids and even coaching her
daughter's basketball team for a year despite never playing herself.
Robin could light up any room with her spunky personality and bellowing laugh. She
was a committed colleague and wonderful friend, forming strong friendships with just
about everyone she met. Robin kept in touch with classmates from every milestone in
her life - she was the party planner for all the reunions or gatherings of her friends.
Staying connected with the ones she loved was what kept her going for so many years.
Robin lived for her family. She loved going on vacations and hiking with her husband
and two children. She especially loved her pets over the many years even welcoming
the mouse her daughter brought home into the family.
Robin will be remembered for her unbelievably sarcastic sense of humor and her ability
to drive you crazy but make you smile simultaneously. She fought courageously until
the very end, never losing hope and fighting every step of the way for her family. We will
all miss her infectious laugh, her insurmountable kindness, and her genuine character.
Robin is predeceased by her husband Bill and survived by her mother Bobby, her two
children, William and Caroline, and her sister Carol.
A celebration of Robin's life will be held on August 18 th at 11AM at the Lyme
Congregational Church in Lyme, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284 or via
