Canaan, NH - Robert N. Perigny, 59, died Friday, June 29, 2018 at his home with his wife at his side.
Bob was born October 3, 1958 in Lowell, MA a son of Norman R. and Theresa (Genreux) Perigny. He grew up in Pelham, NH and attended Pelham High School. At the age of 17 he left high school and joined the United States Marine Corps. Stationed in southern California he spent time in Okinawa Japan, and the Philippines where he made life long connections with brothers at arms especially his friend Menno DeReich. Upon his return Bob went to work at Feudenburg Trucking, Courier Trucking and Marjam Trucking. He moved to the Upper Valley in April of 2012 where he later met Belinda (Sack) Daniels they were married in December of 2016.
Bob is a former bartender and a member of the Pelham American Legion, Manchester, NH American Legion and the Lebanon, NH American Legion. Bob loved to read and would finish books in a day, he enjoyed collecting miniature pig statuary, he was well versed in politics, outspoken and vocal with his beliefs, but his greatest joy was spending time with family especially his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife Belinda of Canaan, two daughters Jenna Perigny and her partner Evan of Bristol, NH and Chelby Perigny and her partner Corey of Concord, NH their mother Patty Devine; a loving "Pap" to his granddaughter Camryn; three step daughters Vanessa Crowder of Henderson, NV, Erica Canales of Haverhill, MA and Elizabeth Daniels of Canaan; two step sons Eric Canales of Lebanon and Andrew Daniels of White River Junction; step grandchildren Izzabella and Allicianna; two brothers David and his wife Cheryl of Pelham, Kenneth and his wife Donna of Salem, NH; three sisters Marianne Brettell and her husband Charlie of Pelham, Judy Lagasse of MA, Diane Frost and her husband Jack from Ohio,several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Gibson Cemetery in Pelham all are invited to meet at the Pelham American Legion and process to the Cemetery at 1PM. Following the services all are invited to a time of fellowship and refreshment at the Legion hall. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangements.
