Robert "Bob" Moore, 77, died peacefully January 8, 2011 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a long period of declining health.
He was born August 10, 1933 in Hawthorne, CA the son of Raymond and Letha (Dunn) Moore. He graduated from Polly High School and attended Riverside City College both in Riverside. He worked in the family car business in Riverside. He became an antique dealer in the mid 1970's until his retirement. He moved to White River Jct., in 2000 to be closer to his son.
Robert was a passionate antique dealer who found beauty and value in many items that would otherwise be discarded. He always enjoyed a good mystery and also sports, especially football. He never complained and "I feel fine" was his favorite line.
Robert's family would like to send a special thank you to Barbara Sweet, Bob's caregiver and friend, as well as the great staff at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and all who loved and assisted him over the past few years.
He is predeceased by his first wife Joan and two daughters, Diane and Cheri, all of Riverside CA, and two siblings Ray and Virginia of CA.
He is survived by his son Donald Moore, of Hartford VT, his daughter Linsey McGough of White Mountain Lake, AZ, his second wife Allison of Morro Bay, CA, his stepson Ian Beebe of Riverside and his step daughter Heather Moore of Galveston TX. as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11 AM at Wellspring Worship Center in West Lebanon, NH. Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct.
