Robert L. Lapine, 85, of Claremont, died on Monday, September 20, 2021, at Elm Wood Center in Claremont. He was born on November 18, 1935, to Lewis W. and Grace Lapine in Windsor, VT.  Robert had an extensive knowledge of baseball and enjoyed collecting baseball cards from multiple eras and he loved to cheer on his beloved Boston Red Sox. He liked to challenge himself with word games and crossword puzzles and was a long-time parishioner of St. Francis Catholic Church in Windsor.

His nieces would like to thank the staff at Elm Wood Center, his home for the last few years, for the excellent care and community that he found there.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Bertha Lapine; and four siblings, Raymond, Henry, Margaret, and Helen.

A private burial will be held at St. Francis Cemetery and a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
