WEST WINDSOR, VT
Robert H. Mastic, 88, a former longtime resident of West Windsor, passed away Wednesday evening, July 24 at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor.
He was born March 19, 1925 in Plattsburg, NY. He received his schooling in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1943. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during World War II. He married Anna Martin in Hartland, VT on August 24, 1946. He was employed as a machinist at the former Cone Automatic Machine Tool Company in Windsor for many years until his retirement.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed working outdoors.
Mrs. Mastic passed away on November 14, 2005.
Survivors include one son, Robert M. Mastic of Bradford, VT, one grandson, Martin R. Mastic and his wife, Patricia of Bradford, VT, and one sister, Eleanor Garcia of Hartland, VT.
At his request services will be held at the convenience of his family with burial in the Hartland Village Cemetery in Hartland.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center at 289 County Road, Windsor, VT 05089.
The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is entrusted with the arrangements.
