Robert E. Weaver (Bob) of Canaan New Hampshire passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after battling cancer for seven years. He was as our Superman.

Bob was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts to the late Joseph and Irene Weaver

He is survived by his wife Lynne and their four children Nicole and her husband Derek, Brooke and her partner Sean, daughter Bobbie-jo, and son Matthew and his fiancé Katrina, his grandchildren Chris,Zack, Matt,Jada ,Kira ,Hannah, Joey ,Brandon, Devon and Tori.
His great grandchildren Ivory and Jude.He is also survived by a sister Betsy and her husband John, a brother Walter & his wife Diane and a brother Lenny and his partner Pati along with many nieces and nephews.  Bob was predeceased  by his sister Joanne and her husband Michael.

Bob was an amazing and skilled carpenter owning his own business Weaver and Son general contracting.

Bob loved listening to the oldies while playing cards with his family.  He was the man everybody went to at Christmas time, he loved wrapping gifts, he'd put on Christmas tunes with his dancing Santa while he wrapped gifts for everyone not just family but neighbors and friends alike.

Bob  always had a big smile on his face and he made it a point to know everyone's name, it was important to him, he said "you should honor someone by knowing their name when you speak to them"

Bob  was a hit at the Cancer Center at DHMC , always wearing a funny Cancer fighting T-shirt making everyone laugh from patients, receptionist and his wonderful oncologist Dr. Shirai.
A special thanks to Sarah and the hospice team.
He will be missed beyond words, he was just an amazing kind and loving man, husband and father he will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held August 31at 63 Follansbee Rd. Canaan New Hampshire from 1-3 PM
