Richard Albert Wilson of Barre, Vermont passed away peacefully on July 6, 2020. He was born on September 11, 1930, the son of Foster "Tug" Wilson and Florence (Green) Wilson.

After attending high school in Randolph, Vermont he spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy stationed in Key West, Florida. Upon his return home he settled in Windsor, Vermont, married Jeannette Hutchins, and began a lifelong career as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. Son Mark was born in 1961. The family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in the 1970's. After retiring he returned to Randolph in the 1990's and later spent his final years in Barre, Vermont.

Richard will join his wife at the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor, Vermont, at a later date to be determined. Arrangements have been entrusted with Knight Funeral Home in Windsor.
