Bethel, Vermont – Richard A. Darling, Sr., 64, died, Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berling, Vermont.   He was born December 9, 1956, in Hanover, NH the son of Pearly and Madelyn (Moses) Darling and lived in Bridgewater before moving to White River Jct., VT as a young boy.  He stated working logging and cutting firewood at the age of 14 and continued this work his entire life.

He married Linda Gray (Brown) now known as Paulette L. Darling in the 1980's.  They lived all over Vermont before settling in White River Jct., VT.  Paulette and Richard later divorced.

Most recently Richard has lived near his sister, Vickie Darling in Bethel, Vermont.

Hunting, fishing, camping and just being outdoors was where he found his greatest pleasures, second only to his love of dogs and especially his beloved "Max" a Pitbull/dachshund mix.

Richard was predeceased by his brothers, Joel Darling, Ronald P. Darling, Sr. and Steven L. Darling Sr.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda Sue Darling of Troy, NY, and Tonya Morse and Bobbie Joe Shattuck of Grafton, NH,  a son, many grandchildren, sister, Vicki Darling of Bethel, VT, as well as several nieces and nephews.
