Randy J. Koloski, 68, died unexpectedly after going missing on November 1, 2021.
He was born June 8, 1953, in Lebanon, NH a son of Joseph R. and Minta (Ison) Koloski. Randy graduated from Hartford High School class of 1971 before serving in the US Army for four years. He worked as a bus driver most of his career including at Dartmouth Coach, Butler Bus and most recently at Student Transportation of Vermont. Randy loved his job and took great interest in the lives of the students he drove.
Randy lived in the Upper Valley all his life. He was married to Deborah Dockum in 1994 and they purchased a home in Sharon in 1998 where he has lived since. Deborah died in 2010.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed music of all types particularly attending live music shows with his wife. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and kind heart, always willing to lend a hand whenever someone needed help. As a true Vermonter, Randy was frugal and took great pride in making things last and lived the saying "Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without"
He was predeceased by his wife and his parents.
He leaves his siblings, Daniel Koloski of Randolph Center, Timothy Koloski (Ann) of Lebanon, Mark Koloski (Christine) of West Windsor, and Mary Merchand (Larry) of Tunbridge; nieces and nephews, Justin, Michael and Kacie Merchand, Ryan, Laura, Chris, and Jordan Koloski, Kyla and Sierra Riendeau and Alana Dunn; aunt, Mary Hudson of Quechee and several cousins.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, November 13 th at 1PM in the Hartford Cemetery on Maple Street in White River Jct., VT.
