Corinth, VT- Randy Lee Hurlbert, 51, died Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH following a courageous battle with ALS.

He was born November 19, 1967 in Lebanon, NH son of Burnham and Jill (McAllister) Hurlbert. He graduated from Thetford Academy Class of 1986. Over the years worked as a farmhand, for the town of Thetford, Daniels Moving and Storage, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, RSD Trucking until he purchased his own truck and worked for himself contracting with GMH.

He was an active member of the Vershire Bible Church.

Randy enjoyed racing especially NASCAR, working, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, most of all he loved being with his companion Suzanne, his family and friends.

He is survived by his companion, Suzanne Smith of Corinth; mother Jill Fournier of East Thetford, father Burnham Hurlbert of Winchester, NH; four sisters Kimberly Gilleney of Rutland, MA, Dona Welch of Bradford, VT, Tawnya Stark of Grantham, NH and Rhonda Hurlbert of New York; a brother Bradley Hurlbert of Winchester; four step children Con, Ryan, Amy and Nathan; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Vershire Bible Church on VT Route 113. Graveside services will follow at 3pm at the Kenny Cemetery next to the Wilmont Farm on Stevens Road in East Thetford, VT. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangements.
