Priscilla Gregg Westney
Ascutney, VT – Priscilla Gregg Westney, 92, died Tuesday January 25th at her daughter's home in Wilder, VT.
She was born April 29, 1918 in Weathersfield, VT a daughter of Leon and Grace (Hacket) Gregg. She graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont, NH and was married to Russell E. Westney March 7, 1936, they lived in Ascutney all of their married lives.
Mrs. Westney was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Claremont and enjoyed visiting with her friends and participating in special events there. She also enjoyed reading, writing poetry and time spent with family, especially at the family cottage on Lake Sunapee.
She was predeceased by her husband Russell in 2002, two brothers Maurice and Neal and two sisters Beatrice Seaden and Muriel Mahoney.
She is survived by two daughters Faith Bushor and her husband Earl of Wilder, VT and Janice Ackley of Ascutney, VT; a son Daniel Westney and his wife Robin of Claremont, NH; two granddaughters Debra Ackley and Amanda Bushor; two grandsons Timothy Bushor and Craig Westney; five great grandsons; two great granddaughters; a niece and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the Spring at a time and place to be announced later.
