They purchased a home on the North Hartland Road in 1959 where they spent the rest of their married lives. Mr. Coutermarsh died in 1995. Pat moved to West Topsham in 2000 where she lived until very recently moving to Valley View. She suffered a house fire in 2009 and rebuilt her home in the same spot.

She traveled to several charismatic conferences including some in New Orleans and Kansas City as well as working at the Edmonite Missions in Selma, Mississippi for several years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Omer; siblings, Hamelin, Bernard, Henri and Martha Dupuis, Madeliene Gosselin and Regis Crocher as well as three siblings who died in infancy.
