Peter L. Vincent
White River Jct., VT – Peter L. Vincent, 54, died Monday August 15th at home in White River Jct., VT.
He was born August 3, 1957 in Lebanon, NH a son of Noel J. Vincent and Mary (Potwin) Vincent. Growing up in Hartford Peter enjoyed serving as an alter boy at St. Anthony's Church, swimming on the swim team, Boy Scouts and art, especially drawing. As a teenager he was involved in a bad automobile accident and despite suffering from a lengthy coma he was able to graduate from Hartford High School on time with his class. He was married for a time to Terry Lasure. Until becoming disabled, Peter worked at Noel Vincent Trucking.
Peter was a former member of St. Anthony's Church where he was a 4th Degree member of the Knight's of Columbus Michaud Council.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Lambert and a brother Alfred "Ben" Barrows.
He is survived by his father and step mother Noel and Eva Vincent of White River Jct.; two daughters Heather Weigel of Lebanon, NH and Amy Vincent of Randolph, VT; three grandchildren Amy, Jake and Trey; a brother Thomas Vincent of Hartland, VT; a sister Nancy Kendall of White River Jct, three step brothers, Wayne Gibson of Fair Haven, VT, Alan Gibson of St. Johnsbury, VT, and Albert Lambert Jr. of Hanover, NH and one step sister, Veronica Lambert of Hartford, VT as well as nieces and nephews.
A visiting hour will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. from 9:30AM until 10:30AM on Friday August 19th followed by the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery also in White River Jct.
