Pauline L. Wentworth, 83, a resident of Enfield, CT and formerly of Windsor, passed away into eternity on Thursday, April 4 at her home in Enfield.

She leaves her devoted husband of over sixty five years, Donald R. Wentworth, Sr., two sons, Donald R. Wentworth, Jr. and Douglas H. Wentworth and his wife, Launa, seven grandchildren, Andrew Wentworth, Brendan Burke and his wife, Sarah, and Joshua, Katie and Sierra Burke, and three great grandchildren, Jameson and Lila Wentworth, and Bailey Burke. Pauline was predeceased by an infant son, Scott.

She was born on April 25, 1935 in Windsor, the only child of Clarence and Agnes (Hannah) Herschel. She graduated from Windsor High School. She was a resident of Enfield, CT for almost sixty years, and worked for Emery Airfreight for twenty seven years, retiring in 1992.

Pauline was an avid gardener and talented artist, and always enjoyed dancing with her favorite partner, her husband, Don. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 18 at 2:00 PM in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association at PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.

The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is entrusted with local arrangements.
