Paula S. Woodard (Manley), 69, of Quechee, VT passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

Paula was born on April 22, 1955 the daughter of Maurice and Lillian (Thomas) Manley  and grew up in Quechee, VT.

Paula was a lifelong resident of Quechee graduating from Hartford High School in 1973.

Paula married Fred Lewis on August 17, 1974 and welcomed their only daughter Teri in February 1977. Paula married Stanley Woodard on March 26, 2011.

Paula worked at Thermal Dynamics before having her own home day care and finishing her career working for the Town of Hartford School district as a bus driver and later on as the school bus coordinator.

Paula loved bowling, camping, Wednesday lunches with her great niece Caitlyn, and time with her dog, Ben.  She also enjoyed travelling including trips to Foxwoods, and her vacations to New Orleans, Nashville and Gatlinburg, TN. Paula also enjoyed making chocolate fudge, peanut butter balls, and biscuits each Holiday for her family. Above all, Paula devoted her life to her daughter.

Paula was an incredibly caring and compassionate woman who did so much for the many people she came in contact with during her lifetime.

She is predeceased by her father (Maurice), her mother (Lillian). She is survived by her daughter Teri Lewis of Quechee, husband Stanley of Quechee, first husband Fred Lewis of Hartford and close friend Todd Mullen of Quechee. She is also survived by her sister Wanda (Donald) Nalette of Hartford, brother Michael (Tabatha) Manley of Pittsburg, NH, sister Tammie (Gary) Gervais of Quechee, and aunt Merylene Simonds of Windsor. Paula also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as life long friends.

A visitation will be held Friday June 14th from 2-4PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. with a memorial service at 4PM.  Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Quechee.
