Wilder, Vermont – Paul B. Edmonds, 67, died peacefully, Saturday morning, September 8, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in White River Jct., VT.  He was born June 7, 1951 in Concord, MA the son of James and Rita (Hill) Edmonds.  He grew up in Boston and attended South Boston High School.  He served in the US Marines during the end of the Vietnam Conflict.

After his honorable discharge from the service, Paul went to work for Foote's Paint Store in Massachusetts.  On November 16, 1985 he married Theresa Spanks in Salem, MA.   In 1987 they moved to Hartland, VT.  Paul and Theresa later lived in Woodstock, VT before moving to Wilder, VT in 1993.  Paul has resided in Thetford Center for the past 8 years.

Paul was employed by Charles B. Gilley Jr. Restoration, Painting LLC.

Paul was a gifted musician, known to entertain family and friends for many years. He enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, and playing cribbage.

He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa (January 29, 2008) and his two brothers, William and Thomas Edmonds.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Emily A. Edmonds of Newport, NH, mother of his grandsons: Lennox and Liam; and his son, James B. Edmonds of Hartland, VT, a sister, Suzanne Garden of Malden, MA, a brother, Peter Edmonds of Marshfield, MA, and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by his best friend, Todd Robie of Thetford, VT.
