Patricia Belisle, 85, died Saturday, December 14, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born April 19, 1939, in Island Pond, VT one of twelve children of Earl and Dorothy (Boutin) McKinney. Pat spent her early years in Island Pond before the family moved to White River Jct. and she began attending Hartford Schools in the eighth grade. She left school to begin working and later returned to earn her GED. Pat worked as a nurse's aide for a time at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover and later at Kleen Laundry in Lebanon before her marriage to Richard Belisle in 1960. They spent most of their married life in Hartland and she watched other children so she could stay at home with her family.

Pat was an active member of the Hartford Emblem Club #150, working her way up through the chairs and serving as president twice and also as state president. In recent years she was also a member of the Lebanon Emblem Club. She also enjoyed reading novels and loved going to BINGO with family and friends.

Pat's family is especially grateful to Bayada Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to both Pat and her family.

She was predeceased by brothers Thomas, Earl, Roland, Richard and William McKinney and sisters Priscilla Burgess and Bonnie Vitagliano.

She leaves her husband Richard of Hartland and children Jeffery Belisle (Deb) of North Hartland, Darlene Belisle White River Jct. and Richard "Butch" Belisle Jr. (Annette) of Canaan, NH; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Lyman of Hartford, Alice Whitney of Quechee; brothers Larry McKinney of Wilder and Bruce McKinney of White River Jct. as well as many nieces and nephews.
