Olive M. "Happy" Brothers

Windsor, VT- Olive M. "Happy" Brothers, 92, a lifelong resident of Hartland, VT, died Monday August 22 at the Skilled Nursing Facility at Mount Ascutney Hospital.

She was born February 24, 1919 in Hartland, VT, the daughter of Ralph and Maude (White) Brothers. Happy attended school in Hartland. She worked on the family farm in Hartland for most of her life. She enjoyed gardening and animals, and especially loved spending time with her family.

Happy is predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Allen Brothers and Ralph "Bill" Brothers, and a sister, Louise Royce.

She is survived by three nephews, Stephen Brothers of Andover, NH, Gary Brothers of Weathersfield, VT and David Royce of New Portland, ME, as well as several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor on Friday August 26 from 6-8PM. A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday August 27 at 3PM in the Hartland Village Cemetery, the Reverend Lucia Jackson, Pastor of the First Congregational Church of Hartland, will officiate
