Plainfield, NH – Norman C. Thibodeau Jr., 66, died Monday November 2, 2020 surrounded by his family at home in Plainfield, NH.

He was born December 20, 1953 in Lebanon, NH son of Norman and Doris (Wheeler) Thibodeau.  Norm graduated from Hartford High School Class of 1972 where he fell in love with Jane Koloski, they were married in 1974. Norm worked at the W.T. Grant Restaurant in West Lebanon and later attended restaurant management school in Holyoke, MA. He managed several different restaurants including the JC Penny Restaurant and the A&W both in West Lebanon and the Canteen at the VA in White River Jct. Norm and Jane have lived in Plainfield, NH for the last twelve years where Norm has been a school bus driver and treated each student as his own child.

Norm was very active at the Hartford Elks where he was a Past Exalted Ruler. He was also a past member of the Sons of the American Legion in White River Jct. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley especially with his wife and son. He was an avid NASCAR, football, baseball and basketball fan and loved to watch Chase Elliott, the Buffalo Bills, the Detroit Tigers and the LA Lakers. Most of all Norm loved spending time with his family and found a way to make time for them.

He is survived by his soulmate, Jane of Plainfield; children Tracy Thibodeau (Dawn) of Windsor and Joseph C. Thibodeau Sr. (Danielle) of Sharon; mother, Doris Thibodeau of Wilder; grandchildren, Austin (Kristyn), Kelsie (Derrick), Makenna, Joseph Jr., Ellie and Thomas;  sisters, Linda Harper (Terry) of White River Jct. and Lisa Thibodeau (Janet) of Wilder; brother, Michael Thibodeau of Wilder and several nieces and nephews.

Norm was predeceased by his father, Norman Thibodeau Sr. and sister, Helen Parmenter.

A visitation will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. on Saturday November 7 ^th from 3-6PM. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
