She was born December 28, 1921 in Hanover, NH, the daughter of Leon and Emma (Plamondon) Parrott. Norma grew up in Wilder and attended the Hartford Schools.
After high school, she attended Houle's Beauty Academy in Manchester, New Hampshire and became a licensed hair dresser. She retired from hairdressing in the late 1940s.
Norma met her husband Roland when he transferred to Hartford High School their junior year. They were married June 6, 1943.
Norma was a kind and thoughtful person, who enjoyed her family, life and helping others while possessing an engaging sense of humor. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed all the Boston teams and Dartmouth hockey.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Milton Parrott and Rae Parrott. She is survived by her two daughters, Doreen Cutter and her husband, Donald of Hanover, NH, Diana Aher and her husband James of Wolcott, VT, 3 grandchildren, Lynne Barnes and her husband Ron, Mark Aher and his wife Jacqui, and Ryan Cutter and his wife Nina, 2 great grandchildren Madison and Alex Barnes, as well as nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1PM in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in White River Jct., VT.
